Frequently Asked Questions:
How long will we be learning from home this year?
Honestly, that depends on a lot of factors that schools can't control right now. As of the first week of school, we are scheduled to stay online only for this term at least.
How will grades work this year?

What are the best ways to help my high schooler learn this year?
There are so many things you can do to help!
- Less is more. Let your high schooler struggle and do their own online work. The best way to help them is to not do their work for them but to give them the resources to think and learn for themselves. (See the resources page for homework help!)
- As much as possible, give your high schooler a focused learning environment. Find ways to minimize noise interruptions and distractions during their class meetings. If possible, relieve them of any chores or childcare duties during class time as well.
- Talk to your high schooler after online classes. Ask about their learning, projects, and more. The more they share about their learning, the better they will own it, and the deeper they will think about it.
